Fort Zancudo

Fort Zancudo is a major military base located in southern San Andreas north of the city of Chumash and is not far from Harmony. It serves as a central training facility and operations hub for several branches of the San Andreas armed forces.

The base sits on over 50 square miles of land containing airfields, shooting ranges, simulation facilities, housing, and research labs. It employs over 10,000 military personnel.

Fort Zancudo’s remote location provides ample space for flight testing, weapons training, and simulated combat exercises. It has capabilities to support fighter jet, helicopter, tank, and artillery drills.

The base maintains high security. Surrounding roads are strictly off-limits to civilians with trespassers facing arrest or deadly force. checkpoints rigorously screen all vehicles entering Fort Zancudo.

Weazel News Investigation

In July of 2023, Weazel News ran an investigative report on supposed paranormal activity that victims claim the military is covering up at Fort Zancudo.

Eyewitnesses said experiments on the base have opened portals to other dimensions, unleashing creatures that attack civilians along the perimeter. Victims exhibiting wounds supposedly from these attacks have been threatened into silence.

The report alleged the bizarre experiments are connected to reverse-engineering recovered alien technology. It implied Fort Zancudo may house creatures not of this earth.

Base spokespeople firmly denied these sensationalized allegations as fiction. Nonetheless, the Weazel News story went viral online, adding to conspiracy lore surrounding the already mysterious installation.
